Full sized mattress that I will cut to fit two wall beds.

Two mattresses

Two wall bunks, for the kids, and two sofa beds, for the big people

Bunks stowed away
A lot has happened in the last week, as you can tell.  My life has been too busy to keep up on a daily basis.  Homeschool is back in session.  Bessie is coming along nicely.  We went to DMV to register her but were told to come back after she had been weighed.  We will do that soon.

Bessie gets beds

It has been a slow week.  Most of the stuff done this week was done on paper with my father.  We plotted out where the cabinet walls would go.  He prepared some wood for the two beds that would hang on the walls.  And as of yesterday, one of the beds was ready to have a sample hanging on the wall to double check measurements.  My mother was photographer this week.

Walmart bed frame
I needed a lightweight bed frame made of steel, so it would be strong.  Walmart had just the thing.  The Spa Sensations full sized bed was the proper size for the kids beds.  It comes in two pieces with each piece being 28" x 75" roughly.  Certainly narrower than a twin bed, but I needed something as low profile as possible.  Knowing that the beds were going to be an irregular size, I also went ahead and bought the full sized Spa Sensations 4" foam mattress topper which I will cut in half.

The bed turned out great.  Very lightweight yet sturdy.

Bessie gets flooring

Lighted license plate mount

Inside of back wall finished

Flooring down
We haven't done much lately.  Carl added a license plate mount, finished off the back wall, and installed the flooring.  I think it looks AWESOME!!!  Today we are going to Home Depot and buy the supplies needed to put the wall beds together and build a couple of walls to support the beds when they are down.
